In this class, you will learn:

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Perspective is the foundation that all representational art is built on. Understanding perspective is critical for students with professional aspirations. If your goal is to pursue concepting, illustration, fine art, animation, matte painting, or almost any other profession based in representational art, a functional understanding of perspective is a must. This class is designed as an introduction to perspective that will help create a foundation that can be built upon for years to come. We will cover topics such as 1, 2, and 3 point perspective, boxes, circles, ellipses, cylinders, inclined planes, vanishing trace, depth measuring, and more. Most of the term will focus on technical perspective information and the last week will focus on relating that information back to head and figure drawing.
Warning:
There is A LOT of information to cover in 5 weeks. This class is designed to make technical information accessible to everyone but the demos will likely be in the 1.5 to 2 hour range, just so you know.
Class Info
Subscription Library Info:
Once a video has been selected, it will be unlocked for viewing and you will be able to watch it in the main Subscription Library and in your My Videos tab. You'll also be able to download the photo reference for the demo you have selected so you can practice. All selections are final for the Basic and Plus tiers, so be sure to choose carefully. Once a video has been selected, you can watch it as many times as you like until the month has ended. At that time, your selections will be cleared for the new month. You'll be able to find your viewing history in the History tab in case you'd like to revisit a previously watched demo. If you are an Unlimited subscriber, you can watch as many videos as you'd like each month. You can also save demos in the My Videos tab for quick reference or save full classes in the My Classes tab if you'd like to work through your demos sequentially as a class.
